What is Lipodissolve?

Lipodissolve is a non-surgical treatment resulting in permanent fat loss. Injections of a fat dissolving agent are placed under the chin for improvement of the appearance of fullness in the area (ie. double chin). The treatment requires a series of sessions to gradually improve your chin profile.

How does Lipodissolve work?

The active ingredient is phosphatidylcholine/deoxycholate, a chemical compound that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat. When injected into a targeted area, it eliminates fat cells resulting in a gradually improving chin profile.

What to expect?

The skin around your chin is cleansed and then a series of quick injections are performed into the fat tissue. After the procedure, you may experience discomfort and swelling of the area. You may take an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory and apply ice. Swelling is normal and can last for one month.

What does it cost?

A treatment is $700. More than one treatment is usually recommended. Most patients require 2 - 6 treatments for best results. Results are permanent and maintenance treatments are not required.
